Tournaments
The annual NAOAGA championship is held in different regions of the North American Continent and is structured in the traditional manner in which golf was founded.
The match play format was selected to determine the annual champion in three divisions:
Fullgraf Division (Assisted): Golfers are allowed to utilize prosthetic devices and/or touch the club with two limbs.
Getchell Division (Unassisted): Golfers touch the club with only one arm throughout the golf swing, from set up to follow-through.
Sanders Division (Net): Golfers may be either assisted or unassisted. Official USGA player handicaps are utilized in computing scores for the purpose of competition.
Beginning in 2013, NAOAGA set aside the first two days of play as stroke play competitive rounds to determine the eight lowest qualifiers in each division. The qualifiers then proceed to match play competition.
Non-qualifiers for match play participate in a series of alternate shot and best ball events throughout the tournament, playing for prizes.
